The (De) Selby Codex

The Spanish net-label Alg-a, which released my online album M.V. (Towers Conning) last year, has just released a limited compilation disc (and accompanying free .mp3 release) entitled Alg-Label Compilatorio #2. The physical version of this is a numbered edition of 104 copies, presented in a hand-sewn cloth bag.

My track, The De Selby Codex, number 13 on the compilation, has been mistitled (as The Selby Codex). Oh well… Myles na gCopaleen would no doubt find it amusing…

Fiche & more

I’m currently working on a new project (Fiche) with Kyle Wright of Diophantine Discs. Our first release, presently without a title, has been recorded and I’m in the process of mixing and editing its very dense 160 minutes of sound into a single piece for a possible 3″ CD release. I hope to have this rather maximalist piece finished shortly so Kyle and I can decide what we’re going to do with it..

I’ve also started a collaboration with Paolo Bandera (Sshe Retina Stimulants), which is in its early stages. The theme is climactic change and extreme weather phenomena. More news on both of these collaborations soon, I hope. I’m very excited by both.

Finally, I’m just finishing off a full-length disc for Diophantine Discs, provisionally entitled Fallen are the Domes of Green Amber. Further details on this shortly.

My best wishes to all my friends for 2007.

Where am I?
