Volcanoes and leaves

Volcanic Tongue, probably Scotland’s most eclectic music shop/mail order, had this to say of my recent Fallen disc:

New full-length 70 minute CD from Scottish based drone/sound artist Brian Lavelle, one-time Richard Youngs collaborator (Radios etc) and recent dedicatee of Alistair Crosbie. Indeed, Crosbie seems like a fairly good comparison point for this beautiful, slow-blooming drone work, comb[in]ing older recordings, new work and a feel for the extended projection of sound-in-space in a way that is very personal. These drones feel truly inhabited, while possessed of a languid beauty that is choral in scope and feel.

More releases are in progress.
